![]() Reading them in the wrong order can make for some VERY confusing journal entries. So unless you are careful, you can get them really scrambled. You need to be similarly careful with some of the books, like Lara's Gift (read first) and Story of Lara Doreen and Cragen Lod (read second) or History of the world (1) and Recent History (2). He was also an Aen Saevherne, so he wasn't only a prolific Aen Elle ruler, but also a magic user and knowledgeable about elder blood. He'll tell you stuff about the following:1) Clay pits2) Three Islands section, he gives you two formulas (Maribor Forest potion and King & Queen bomb)3) Any place of power, another dialogue, guaranteed to get it at druid circle4) Mage tower entrance, you get the base entry for the Mage tower. Then take him to Melitele shrine and get the last info out of him and he sods off to his hut. The Witcher 3 shows that he lived, it should be an indicator for how powerful he was although in his last years he was probably exhausted. If you map the swamp before talking to Gramps but don't go into his hut before that, you get all kinds of interesting stuff out of him if you take the scenic route to the shrine.
